Hollie Paxton is a jewellery designer, maker and educator based in London. Her practice begins with an interest in the everyday — the objects, materials and details that often go unnoticed or are considered insignificant.

Her work explores ideas around value, consumption, memory and our relationships with the objects around us. Everyday materials and familiar objects are often reimagined through jewellery and making, shifting their meaning and perceived value.

Hollie studied Jewellery Design at Central Saint Martins, graduating with a BA (Hons), before completing an MA in Goldsmithing, Silversmithing, Metalwork and Jewellery at the Royal College of Art. Alongside her studio practice, she has worked extensively in higher education. Most recently, she was Deputy Course Leader at the British Academy of Jewellery, where she helped develop and establish a BA in Jewellery Design and Production, validated by Kingston University.

Alongside teaching and academic work, she continues to develop her jewellery practice through exhibitions, commissions, collaborations and research.
